It was loud and noisy in the great hall as everyone was just getting back to the school. So many memories here and so many new friends achieved then at that stupid stink hole that sirius called his home. Well He didnt really call it a home just a building he had to live in for a little while. School had started up and he was away from the parents who always looked at him with such disappointment and indifference. How stupid their smug faces looked after that first year when he told them what house he had been accepted in. Pure blood fascinations with the green and silver. Slytherin could go blow themselves a new hole.
Sirius mouth had been watering and waiting for this time to come again when he could feast on the best food this island could offer. So many choices and the drinks were good too. So many memories behind these walls and he would be a legend with his friends as they left their legacy here for others to see. As the food appeared, Sirius's Tastebuds went nuts at the bursts of flavoring. Oh he had really missed it this much.

Lily couldn't express just how happy she was to be back in the ancient castle she now considered her home. Well, she loved her real home too, don't get her wrong. But her sister had finally done. She had annoyed Lily to no extent, and they had had a huge fight over the summer. Lily was feeling much better at Hogwarts right now. Well, a new term, new adventures, and most importantly, new things to learn!
She walked slowly into the Great Hall, taking in her surroundings, smiling at the familiarity of it all. Once she was the feast appear, she quickly made it to the only available seat, and plopped down with a sigh. She looked up, only to see Sirius Black sitting before her. "Well, hello, Sirius!", she greeted him with a smile. She didn't like James, yes, but somehow, she was more friendly with Sirius than she could ever imagine being with James. James was just...ugh.

With a mouthful of mash potatoes and roast beef, Sirius looked up and saw Lily by him. Giving what he could manage for a grin, he tried to swallow to respond back. Lily, the muggle born bookworm that James was so fascinated with. Sirius always thought that james tried to hard to impress her and he did it in the wrong ways most of the time. Finally getting the food down with a good gulp of pumpkin juice, Sirius looked at Lily with that mischievious grin he was well known for.
"Well if it isnt our very own Lily of the library. Or should I say, Remus's Twin. How was your summer? Boring with the world of muggles?"
Sirius couldnt help himself. He knew that Lily had a good family and probably had a great summer. He was actually quite jealous because his family was the strict high class family and boring as always. But he thought Lily should be used to this. Since she always seemed to talk to him and greet him friendly. She really was a great person but Sirius just really couldnt help himself sometimes.
